What campers say

McCrea Bridge Campground is a pretty, quiet riverside site with wooded, roomy campsites and a public boat launch, making it a good base for paddling, fishing, and wildlife viewing. The area near the bridge is a non-motorized zone favored by kayakers. Sites have picnic tables, fire rings, bear boxes and gravel pads; pit toilets are reported very clean and hosts are generally friendly and attentive. There are no electrical hookups and water is limited to fill stations/bibs rather than full hookups, so bring supplies. Most visitors praise cleanliness and accessibility, though a few noted proximity to the road and one reported a host access dispute.
