📖 About This Campground

Tuolumne Meadows Campground in Yosemite National Park California provides primitive (no water, electric, or sewer) hookup RV and tent camping adjacent to the Tuolumne Meadows Visitor Center. A very popular and large campground this location allows advanced reservations but does hold some sites back for first come first served campers. Multiple loops located just off Tioga Road the sites are hit and miss with most being very close to one another. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and bear box. Some sites can accommodate RVs and trailers up to 35 feet. In addition there are 7 group sites and 4 horse/ equestrian sites. Restrooms with running water are available. Multiple hiking trails in this area along with a short walk to the world famous Toulumne Meadows area. Situated at 8,600' of elevation the campground is cool at night and open seasonally due to snow. A small store is located nearby with basic supplies. The campground roads are paved but in serious need of repair. Many have been reduced to rough dirt with large potholes.
