What campers say

Moraine Campground is a convenient, scenic option just off Tioga Road near Yosemite, with several sites tucked along a pretty creek and others closer to the highway. It makes a good base for park access and nearby town services. Facilities are basic—clean portable toilets only, no showers or on‑site water spigots (a free water station is nearby)—and cell signal is unreliable. The host is generally reported as helpful, though rare confrontations have been mentioned. Expect occasional noise from dumpsters and early‑morning traffic on busy weekends; reservations can be wise for peak times.
