📖 About This Campground
Riverside Campground near Island Park Idaho offers 56 primitive tent and RV camping sites in a quiet area along the banks of Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Part of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest (Forest Service) the campground provides access to great fly-fishing for rainbow and brook trout; tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting are also popular on the river. Wildlife can be frequently spotted throughout the area. Potable water and vault toilets. Sites can be reserved.
Riverside has 3 loops A, B and C with A being placed on a newly paved road with sites that can found with excellent views of the river. The campground is accessed via a short dusty gravel road but is well worth the trip. Loops B and C have dirt roads and parking pads. Sites have fire rings and picnic tables.
