This park was a delight to stay at. $30 per night during the week and $35 on the weekends we had a great backin at the back of the park overlooking a pasture that occasionally had cows eating their way around. Low key and easy to work with you pay at the lodge across the street. This is for self contained units only and seemed to draw in a quiet group of fulltimers. Ashton is a nice little town and close to Rexburg for shopping (although the small grocery in Ashton is well stocked and reasonably priced). We visited both Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park including Cave Falls and Mesa Falls. It is a bit of a drive to West Yellowstone but if you do the math it is still way more affordable to stay here. Verizon 4G was solid.

What campers say
Eagle Peak Lodge & RV Campground offers clean, well-kept rooms, cabins, and RV hookups with friendly, helpful staff. Families and groups find spacious accommodations, basic complimentary breakfast, and convenient amenities like air conditioning and nearby gas and dining. The site is quiet, pet-friendly, and feels safe. Practical tradeoffs include a roughly 50–60 minute drive to Yellowstone’s West Entrance and tent camping that uses RV sites without dedicated picnic tables or shade. Some guests note the breakfast is simple rather than elaborate and prices can be a bit higher than primitive campgrounds, but many praise the value for cleanliness and service.
