What campers say

Dewey Bridge Campground sits right on the Colorado River and offers scenic, riverfront campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. Many visitors find it clean and appreciate the dark skies and historic bridge setting. Practical tradeoffs include proximity to Route 128 and an off‑road trail, which can bring daytime and occasional nighttime vehicle noise. Sites are largely first‑come, first‑serve and tend to fill quickly; group‑site parking can be awkward for multiple trailers. Expect limited or no cell service, seasonal wind and biting flies, and a modest fee (around $20).
