About Bridge Bay Campground
Bridge Bay Campground in Yellowstone National Park Wyoming offers 400+ primitive tent and RV camping sites. Managed by concessionaire reservations are available. Across the highway from Yellowstone Lake sites are grouped into a series of loops with the first few having the sites all out in the open and the other loops providing a lot more shade and privacy between sites.
Adjacent to Bridge Bay Campground is the marina and boat launch area for access to Yellowstone Lake. Bridge Bay Campground is alos reasonably close to the "Lake" area and Fishing Bridge; areas that offer fueling stations, restaurants, hotel rooms and other amenities. Bridge Bay is a popular destination.
Paved roads and paved parking pads the campsites are condensed and close but the central location within the park, abundant amenities and trails make this a decent place to stay. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Bear boxes are dispersed throughout the camping loops and are shared. A dump station is available and many of the sites can fit decent sized RVs.
Running water, restrooms, and dishwash stations are available. It is a short hike down to the lake shore.
There are also group sites available in this campground. A parking area is available for over-flow or boat trailers.
