    Hole in the Wall Campground has 35 sites, all dirt and some pull thru. There is a dump station and water spigots throughout the campground. Its very primitive with just pit toilets. Very quiet and great views of the surrounding hills. Many hiking trails around the campground, with the Ring Trail that leads you around the hills, where there are petroglyph’s, plant identification and other cool things to explore. $12 a night but half price with passes. Cell service can be hard to get, depending on where your location is. No fire wood sold at the campground. Can get windy and cold.

Park Description

Hole-in-the-Wall Campground near Kelso California is a Mojave National Preserve Campground open to RV and tent campers on a first come first served basis. Surrounded by volcanic scultped cliffs the campground is in a scenic setting. Inexpensive fee the park provides pit toilets, trash receptacles, potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and a dump station. Firewood is not available in the park.

Hiking trails and information available. The campground is located at 4,400 feet of elevation. Large sites including pull thrus can accommodate most any size RV.
