Park Description

Broken Arrow Campground near Diamond Lake Oregon is set back from the shore of Diamond Lake in a Lodgepole pine forest. Campground boasts views of both Mount Bailey and Mount Thielsen and offers fishermen access to nearby Diamond Lake and plenty of opportunities to catch a nice Rainbow trout. The lake, located only one quarter mile away, is stocked annually with over 450,000 fingerlings. Camping is available for both tents and RVs up to 45 feet in length. There 13 individual, reservable sites and 117 first come, first serve sites.

This large campground has 120 standard site and, 3 group sites, able to accommodate tents, RVs and trailers. The 3 group sites and standard sites are availble by reservation only.
Sites are equipped with picnic tables, campfire rings, grills, drinking water and flush toilets. Several nearby boat ramps provide access to the lake.

The area around Broken Arrow Campground offers outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to hike, fish, swim, bike and enjoy a long list of outdoor recreational activities throughout the year. With a backdrop of forested shoreline and mountain peaks, anglers may cast a line from a boat or along the shore into nearby Diamond Lake to reel in rainbow trout. Swimming, kayaking, and picnicking along the shore are wonderful ways to spend a warm afternoon along the waterfront as well. Bicyclists will enjoy riding on the 11-mile paved trail around the lake, while hikers can head out for the day on one of many trails leaving from the area. Interpretive programs are offered on Saturday evenings at nearby Diamond Lake Campground. Trails for horseback riding are within 5 miles of the campground.

Shade - Provides campsites with shade coverings. Shade can be provided in a number of ways but primarily is caused by a forested setting or trees placed in a manner to block some direct sunlight.
Pull-In - Pull-in style RV sites. These sites generally are best suited to RV coaches with a windshields. Pull-in can include pull thru sites or sites designed specifically to pull nose in and back out to leave.
Hiking - Hiking opportunities immediately from the campground or within a very close distance. If you like to hike, explore on foot or even jog/ run this RV park or campground has access to hiking trails.
Biking - Easy access for cyclists looking to ride bikes. Our information, reviews and data show that this destination either has bike trails passing through the park or the surrounding area is suitable for bicycle riding. Remember to always wear a helmet and check with the locals on trail and road conditions.

Dump Station - On-site dump station for draining sewage tanks. Our information, reviews or photos suggest that this spot has a dump station available. Fees may be charged for dump station use; contact the location office or manager for information and rules about the dump station.
Showers - Provides shower facilities onsite. If you need to take a shower and didn't bring your own along, or don;t like yours, this RV park or campground has shower facilities
Forest - Within or adjacent to a forested setting. Our information, reviews or photos suggest the park is surrounded by forest. Access to the forest will depend on the location but generally we have flagged these as forest if they are surrounded by trees or national forest lands.
Swimming - Offers swimming opportunities. Swimming may be available at a pool, a swim lake, in the river, or a dedicated swim area. If you are camping here bring the swim trunks along.
Kayaking - Access to kayaking opportunities. Kayaking can performed in rivers, lakes, ponds and the ocean. Know before you go but this campground or RV park has access to kayaking opportunities.
