Ryan Campground in Joshua Tree National Park California offers 15 primitive campsites at elevation 4,300ft. Campsites located along one loop that circles two large rock outcroppings. Hiking trails depart direct from the campground. About 1/2 mile off the paved road via a dirt road this campground tends to be less traveled and a little more peaceful. Sites are best suited to tent or car camping with RVs limited due to size and very un-level parking pads. Pit toilets and no water.
