📖 About This Campground
Pumice Flat Campgrounds is located west of Mammoth Lakes California and offers primitive tent and RV camping in a lodgepole pine forest near trailheads to the Ansel Adams Wilderness Area, Pacific Crest and John Muir Trails. Close to Devils Postpile National Monument. Access via a narrow, winding, and steep road. Closed to vehicle traffic during peak months campers must pay a few to drive down.
