What campers say

Lake Mary Campground sits amid the Mammoth Lakes area at high elevation and offers scenic lakeside access and many nearby hikes. Sites are generally well maintained—several reviewers noted large, shaded campsites, asphalt RV pads, picnic tables, fire rings and bear boxes—and the camp hosts and restrooms (flushing toilets, running water) are praised for cleanliness. There are no hookups, showers, or on-site dump station, and visitors should expect active wildlife (bears) and use caution with food storage. Site spacing varies: many sites feel roomy, while some can be close to neighbors.
