Powell Park Resort & Marina offers lakefront amenities and a family-friendly atmosphere. Many reviewers praise clean grounds, friendly staff, and an on-site store and restaurant known for good breakfasts and burgers. The marina provides fuel, boat slips and water activities—kids enjoy the inflatables and swimming/jumping area. However, guests also report maintenance and layout issues: narrow or uneven RV sites, rough roads, inconsistent bathhouse cleanliness and privacy (the store restroom was often cited as better), and mixed customer service. A few reviewers criticized boat rental condition. Overall, it’s a solid lakeside option if you accept some rustic upkeep tradeoffs.
