What campers say

Clearwater Campground is a small, scenic riverside site with spacious, mostly private pitches set close to the swift Shoshone River. Sites are primitive—no hookups and vault-style restrooms—but facilities and campsites are generally kept clean. Many visitors praise the helpful, knowledgeable campground host and the convenient access to both Cody and Yellowstone’s East Entrance; some noted wildlife such as bison nearby and limited cell service. RVers may find fewer suitable spots than tent campers. A single guest reported intrusive host behavior and a dog bite; that appears to be an isolated complaint amid otherwise positive accounts.
