Spring Lake Park is a well‑maintained county campground centered on a pleasant lake with kayaking, paddleboat rentals, a swim beach and a concession stand. Campsites are numerous — lakeside and inland — many with electric hookups; some require reservations while others are first‑come, first‑served. Two rentable cabins are available. Park amenities include good hiking trails, a historic roller skating rink, disc golf and abundant trees and wildlife. Modern restrooms and free showers are provided, though occasional shower issues have been reported. Overall it’s peaceful and family‑friendly, with responsive staff and a range of outdoor options.
