Sherwood Forest Camping & RV Park in Wisconsin Dells Wisconsin provides full hookup RV and tent camping in a large campground just north and immediately adjacent to the major tourist area of this tourist town. Sites are set in a wooded setting and the best sites are actually the tent sites back in the woods in addition RVs will find back in and pull through options. All the main park roads are paved while a few of the tent and small RV sites in the trees have dirt roads. Parking pads are all dirt gravel. Guests can also rent nicely styled little cabins. The park has family-friendly amenities including playgrounds, club houses, a large pool area with splash pad, and game room. The office has a small store. While the park is close to town it is not within walking distance due to a lack of sidewalks along us 12.
