Located roughly 18 miles southwest of Darby, Montana, this cozy 12-site canyon haven sits at an elevation of 4,500 feet, providing a beautifully shaded, pine-scented escape from summer's peak valley heat. Tailored for tents, camper vans, and smaller RV setups up to 30 feet, the campground features a generous open meadow space ideal for group recreation. Operating on a budget-friendly, first-come, first-served basis, this completely off-grid dry camping environment serves as an exceptional wilderness staging ground for native stream fishing and immediate hiking access into the untamed depths of the majestic Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness.
