This is one of the ugliest parks I've stayed at in 15 years. It's a big piece of dirt with electric and water, There are frequent heavy winds since it's desert with frequent dust devils. --It's way over priced--$42.50 without G/Sam. The only thing it has going for it is it is 27 miles south of the South Rim and 25 miles north of Williams. I wished I'd stayed at the park just outside the Entrance to the South Rim...would have cost a bit more but one spends a lot on diesel gas when going to the Grand Cyn 2X in 2 days. (That's 108 miles in 2 days.) --Be sure you fill up in Gas in Williams...across the street it was $3.87 the day I left and it was in October. --The restaurant/motel has half way decent food, a very good thing! --Management did not tell me to look for Flintstone RV, and so I missed it originally--not easy to turn around on the sm. 2-lane road, a little dangerous with a 30 ft.rig. The owner tried to tell me I was told, which I definitely was not, and tried arguing with me (he wanted to be right). I just stopped the convo; he didn't know what I was told since I never talked with him. --This is the first review I've ever given in 15 years but felt people need and honest review.
