This was our first long stay after the COVID lockdowns and we loved it. The park stayed mostly empty. It is run down, more so than last time we stayed, but the utilities worked. Loved the close access to Grand Canyon and the perfect weather while we stayed. Paid $60 per night for location only.

What campers say
Grand Canyon Camper Village sits a very short drive or walk from the canyon rim and town shops, making it convenient for daily park visits. Staff are frequently praised as friendly and helpful, and the campground offers clean showers, laundry and a useful camp store. Sites vary: a number have full hookups but many are water-and-electric only, and some pads are uneven or gravel. Expect daytime helicopter/air traffic and occasional early service noise. Tent areas are separate and nearby trails provide quick access to the rim. Good value overall if you prioritize location and service over resort-grade hookups.

It was an okay place to stay. Very dusty the park shows signs of deferred maintenance. Rumors of the location being turned into a hotel explains this. A suitable spot to stay if you are travelling into and out of the park. There is a paved bike path that starts kitty-corner to the park and meanders into the National Park. Verizon 4G was solid.
