Ten-X Campground — Virtual Tour

Ten-X Campground south of Tusayan Arizona (Grand Canyon Village) is a Forest Service Campground offering primitive tent and RV (up to 35ft) campsites in a wooded setting 4 miles from the south entrance to Grand Canyon National Park. 70 single-unit campsites organized in a large loop, each accommodating up to eight people. Single-family sites 1-13, 22-30 and 45-70 are non-reservable and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. Sites are comfortable with bathrooms, water and paved parking nearby. Sites 2, 3 and 4 have tent pads. Less known this campground tends to be opened most of the time with sites available on a first-come first-serve basis. Paved roads with paved parking pads including large pull thrus and backin sites. The campground can handle most any size RV. Restrooms and running water are available. There is a camp host on site. Situated in a forested setting this is a pretty campground is located 1/4 Mile off the highway keeping noise to a minimum. The further back on the loops you go the further from the road you get. If you're looking for an option to camp near the Grand Canyon on the last-minute notice or with no reservation this is a good choice. There are nature trails throughout the forest and there are forest service roads nearby for off-roading and further adventure. Located 4 miles from the entrance gate to Grand Canyon National Park (South Rim). There are also two group sites. Group Site A accommodates up to 75 people. Group Site B accommodates up to 50 people. Groups larger than 75 people can reserve both Group Sites A and B. The group sites have picnic shelters, tables and tent pads. Due to limited water supply, RVs are not allowed to fill up at the campground. Ten-X is an excellent alternative to the nearby Grand Canyon National Park campgrounds.
