What campers say
Pinicon Ridge Park offers a well-maintained, family-friendly campground with a mix of RV sites, primitive group areas and modernized cabins. Campsites are generally level and clean, and many visitors note updated restroom facilities. The park features extensive paved and wooded trails, an observation tower, two playground areas, and water recreation with canoe, kayak and paddle‑boat rentals. Wildlife viewing is common. Practical tradeoffs include limited signage making the entrance hard to find, occasional flooding in low areas after heavy rain, and nighttime bridge lighting that attracts bugs. Staff are described as helpful and onsite amenities are well kept.
