Otter Lake Campground is a well-kept, family-oriented park with friendly, helpful staff and clean restrooms and hot showers. Sites tend to be roomy and easy to access, with a mix of tent and RV areas; some sites can be sloped or closer to neighbors. The lake and waterfront are scenic and offer swimming, rentals and play areas for kids, though a few visitors reported algae and limited fish in parts of the lake. Amenities include a small store, laundry, playground and courts. Expect limited cell service in the U.P. and a strict checkout policy that may restrict use of facilities after departure.

Otter Lake Campground & RV Park in Munising Michigan is located within Hiawatha National Forest. Offers 70 sites with electric hook-ups, picnic tables, and a fire pit. Group sites are available. Some sites are located in a sunny area while others are in a wooded area so you have a nice selection of a campsite for your camping trip. Otter Lake Campground offers modern restrooms with a new shower house providing campers with hot showers, a guest coin laundry, water and dump station, and a small camp store for pop, ice, charcoal, firewood, ice cream, chips, condiments, and miscellaneous toiletries.
