📖 About This Campground

Odlin County Park Campground on Lopez Island Washington provides primitive tent and RV camping in a unique location close to the ferry landing. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings with pricing varied based upon the view from camp. Some sites have majestic views looking out over the water while others are tucked in to the trees or on the inland side of the road. Advanced reservations are accepted and encouraged during peak warm seasons.

To get to Odlin County Park Campground campers must first get to the island via boat, ferry, kayaking or swimming (the later is highly discouraged) Ferries depart Anacortes and make regular stops at Shaw Island. The ferries can carry vehicles of all sizes and are reasonably priced (not cheap but not overly expensive either). Once on the island private cars are allowed or the more adventurous can bike camp and ride over to the campground. Some sites are reasonably large and can handle RVs while others are designated as tent camping only. The county maintains a good reservation system with specific descriptions for each available site.
