This park is Great place to visit. Great fishing. Has 2 different lakes to fish in, both are excellent for fishing. Nice lots. Has 2 different sections to camp. One is a little chilly and hard spot to get level. Other campground is lot more flat and level. Only down side is you have a long walk to the lake and swim area. They have a store with a takeout restaurant which has good food. I love camping here and love going across the street to the band camp. They have concerts with famous artists from all over. Country, pop, and so forth.

Interlochen State Park offers a large, well-maintained campground on Duck and Green Lakes with many tent, RV, and cabin options. Sites are often wooded and shaded with picnic tables, fire rings and 20/30‑amp hookups; baths and private-feeling shower rooms are generally clean and updated. The sandy beach, water access, kayak rentals, fishing and trails make it a strong family destination, and it's convenient to Interlochen and Traverse City. Expect a popular, sometimes crowded park—some loops and sites sit close together and tree placement can make vehicle access tight. Park store and nearby services add convenience.
