What campers say

Inn Town Campground blends a well‑maintained, family‑oriented layout with convenient proximity to Nevada City. Guests consistently praise clean restrooms and showers, a stocked community kitchen, laundry, a swimming pool, and personable, helpful staff. Options range from shaded tent sites under tall trees to staffed glamping tents and RV hookups, with onsite activities and easy access to nearby trails and the railroad museum. Practical tradeoffs include occasionally close site spacing and limited privacy, a ban on open campfires (propane campfires and designated charcoal areas provided), some weaker Wi‑Fi at back sites, and a few sites that may require leveling blocks.

This campground has plenty of amenities from laundry to an outdoor theater to BBQ grills you can use to common areas which include a full kitchen that guest can use. It's definitely California camping as the sites are close together. There is a railroad museum next door that is a good place to visit and it is centrally located in town yet feels like you are in the wilderness. My grip with them is they will nickel and dime you. Their nightly fee is high and they charge a pet fee and extra vehicle fee even if your vehicle fits in your site. Personally I feel there are alternatives in the area that cost much less but if money is no object, you will enjoy your stay here.
