📖 About This Campground

Indian Creek Campground in Yellowstone National Park Wyoming provides primitive tent and RV camping in a wooded setting set back off the road. 6 ton limit on the bridge entering the campground limits the size of RVs you can bring in plus the campground is tight for larger rigs. The official length limit is 25'. First come first served. Campground includes site limited to hikers or bikers. One of the "hidden gem" campgrounds in Yellowstone National Park this one generally has sites remaining when others are full. The campground roads have been repaved and this campground has a general better/ cleaner feel than the rest inside the park. Parking pads are packed gravel/ dirt. Some sites are pull thru while most are backin. With green trees, prairie grasses, and the nearby river this campground offers quiet camping in a pretty area. No stores or showers nearby the closest facilities are up at the Mammoth Hot Springs area. Each site has a picnic table, bear boxes and fire ring. Decent spacing between sites and good shrubbery between most allows for some privacy. 70 sites available. Access to multiple great hiking trails. Pit toilets and running water are available. Firewood may be available depending upon season and the mood of park staff. Explore the campground in standard video
