We drove over to see this place and ended up glad we stayed at the fairgrounds. Way overpriced for a gravel lot, not full but unable to answer the phone.
About this campground
Helena North KOA north of Helena Montana offers pull thru and backin RV sites with packed gravel roads and site pads. A mix of long term guests (mostly in the backins) and short term stays (the pull thrus) the park is about 1 mile off Interstate 15 and then a few hundred yards off the arterial road. Full and partial hookups sites available ranging in the high $30 to high $40 range during peak season. The park is well maintained and provides easy access for any size RV. A bathhouse and laundry are available. Propane is also available onsite. Across the arterial road (Lincoln Road) is a paved bike path/ walk path just use caution crossing the road as traffic can move at a fast pace.
Reasonably close to Helena this park is the nicest full service park in the region and fills up often during peak season.
