Access involves gravel roads and a narrow single-lane bridge, cell service can be limited, and larger RVs may feel tight. Nearby Glade Creek Trail and Kates Falls plus river beaches provide good hiking and swimming spots. The campground is popular and can fill up early, and passing trains along the river can be noisy at night.
