📖 About This Campground

Cave Springs Campground north of Sedona Arizona along US 89-A is a US Forest Service campground offering primitive tent and RV camping located in a shady stand of ponderosa pines in the upper reaches of the canyon. Adjacent creek and hiking trails offering abundant outlets for adventure. Popular location reservations recommended. Comprised of a series of loops the campground roads are narrow, winding between tall trees, and mostly single direction. Campsites are well spaced and have a classic forest service appeal. Managed by concessionaire the park has onsite camphosts, firewood, coin operated showers, fresh water and pit style toilets. the only campground in the canyon with showers. Sites are backin or pull in style sites and have picnic tables and fire rings. Famous for its creek crossing metal bridge visitors, with proper permit, can fish in the creek. Also swimming holes are within walking distance. The famous Call of the Canyons area is located 1 mile south of the campground BUT there are no trails and it is not safe to walk along the road down to that location.
