What campers say
Blue Jay Campsites is a small, family-run campground on Tupper Lake that’s consistently praised for friendly, helpful staff, clean sites and bathrooms, and a relaxed, rustic Adirondack atmosphere. The grassy shore, beach and playground make it a good family spot; docks and affordable boat, canoe and jet-ski rentals are available. Sites vary—many seasonal campers occupy portions of the park, but daily/weekly sites are offered—and a small camp store has limited hours while town amenities are nearby. Practical tradeoffs: staff enforcement of visitor rules and occasional fees, plus some reports of road noise or strict quiet hours.
