The mature pines, quiet evenings and friendly staff add to the relaxed atmosphere, and weekend service trucks sell ice, firewood and treats. Expect rustic tradeoffs: roads into and inside the loop can be narrow, rough, and lengthy to drive, so larger rigs may find access tight; some shower and restroom facilities are reported as aging or only offering cold water.
