Small, quirky country store in Long Lake offering a wide selection of goods—books, clothing, hats, gifts, camping supplies, bait and tackle, and local foods (fudge, smoked meats, pickles). A distinctive tree grows through the building, and a nostalgic Christmas aisle is a noted attraction. Staff are generally described as friendly, and there are simple prepared foods available out back. Prices may be higher on some items, but many visitors find the variety and local character worth a stop when passing through the Adirondacks.
