Black Moshannon State Park offers a peaceful, well-maintained mountain setting centered on a scenic lake. Campground sites are generally spacious and quiet; bathhouses are modern and showers provide reliable hot water. Trails are plentiful, well-marked, and include boardwalks and short easy loops like the bog trail. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, ranger-led programs, and abundant wildlife. A small camp store and on-site cafe/grill supply basics and popular hand-dipped ice cream.
