This historic county fair has a step‑back-in-time atmosphere, centered on long‑running tent and RV encampments that create a temporary, friendly small‑town community. The event offers abundant fair food, rides, livestock and horse shows, plus 4‑H, produce and craft exhibits. The grounds are large, so expect a fair amount of walking (trams are sometimes available). Campers report grassy sites, water hookups that may be shared, dump stations and coin showers, though hot water can be limited.
