Bellefonte / State College KOA

We stayed here for 5 days June 2023. This is one of my favorite campgrounds to stay at. It is so peaceful (although you here the traffic from some sites) and offers so much to do. The store is pretty good and has most of what campers need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have great firewood that burns really well, propane refilling station (got my Class C filled (my propane tank is permanent). There is a nice catch and release pond, a nice (but small) swimming pool, a bouncy pillow (huge), an awesome bike course, volleyball and BB courts, horse shoes and other stuff to do. My T-Mobile home internet worked great. Cable worked great also but I usually use my firestick. I was in 103 which is a premier site and a favorite. I already booked it for June 2024. Bellefonte town does not have a lot to offer other than your basic stuff. But 5 minutes (turn left leaving camp) is a Amish Deli that has a lot of food items. Penn State is about 20 minutes away and of course we had to go to the Creamery for Ice cream. It was awesome. This is one campsite I do not mind paying the KOA prices. It has everything. Since my last trip (June 2022) they have added security measures (entrance gates) that require a key card to enter. This will keep out any vehicles that do not belong and any locals trying to use the amenities. Love this place!
