What campers say

Big Eric's Bridge State Forest Campground is a small, rustic riverside site with roughly a dozen to twenty campsites, scenic overlooks and easy access to rapids, swimming holes and fishing. Sites are wooded, fairly close together, and generally accommodate tents up to larger rigs. Facilities are basic — vault toilets/outhouses and a hand-pump/well — and visitors should expect pack-in/pack-out trash and limited services. A long gravel/logging road leads in, so occasional truck noise is possible. Trails exist but may be lightly marked. Non‑Michigan vehicles should be aware of higher day fees and off‑site dump/refill requirements.
