Baraga State Park in Baraga Michigan overlooks scenic Keweenaw Bay of Lake Superior. Camping is available at 116 grassy sites or in the park's minicabin or tepee. Baraga State Park is a tidy, well-maintained campground with clean restrooms and showers, electric/water sites, and friendly staff. Lots of sites are decent size with firewood and ice available, but many campsites sit close to US‑41, so highway noise and limited privacy/shade are common — it can affect sleep. The park offers hiking and quick access to Lake Superior, though reaching spots on the Keweenaw can be a long drive. Be aware the narrow entrance can be awkward for large rigs, and heavy rain has caused localized flooding in some loops.
