Baraga State Park is a tidy, well-maintained campground with clean restrooms and showers, electric/water sites, and friendly staff. Lots of sites are decent size with firewood and ice available, but many campsites sit close to US‑41, so highway noise and limited privacy/shade are common — it can affect sleep. The park offers hiking and quick access to Lake Superior, though reaching spots on the Keweenaw can be a long drive. Be aware the narrow entrance can be awkward for large rigs, and heavy rain has caused localized flooding in some loops.
