Poe Paddy State Park is a small, rustic, off‑grid park tucked into the Bald Eagle mountains. Campsites are well maintained, many streamside or level tent sites, with clean vault bathrooms and potable water but no showers. The park offers miles of dirt/gravel roads, hiking and biking trails, a pedestrian tunnel/rail-trail link, and easy access to Penns Creek for trout fishing and tubing; Poe Valley Lake is nearby for swimming and kayaking. Expect limited to no cell service and to bring supplies. Some access roads can be rough or washed-out; a higher-clearance vehicle is helpful.
