    Thanks for your reply. I’ve heard the park is under better management. I hope so because before this incident and COVID this was one of my favorite beautiful places to stay.

    I have lived here for seven years and do not recommend it. Planning to relocate. I can confirm everything in the other review on this site. Blue Lakes Village is an investment for the owner who cares nothing for tenants or visitors. Also, we are located in Lake County where there is no real oversight. Sadly, I cannot recommend that you visit here.

    The first thing I see when I pulled into this park is the manager’s office. It has several “keep out” signs on the entrance of the office along with a “do not knock, do not disturb, call first” sign posted on the door ( at 1:30 p.m .-normal business hours) This is a mountainous area that has poor cell reception. I had to drive 7 miles in order to “call first”. The registration process was rude and uncomfortable This park does NOT have showers, restrooms, or laundry room for people to use. The building is there but the doors are padlocked also posted with signs to keep out. The sewage connection was broken so my hose just fell out when I tried to connect to the park. I thought that California law required an airtight connection?? Do not complain at this RV park management will talk down to you and not fix the problem properly. This park looks nothing like the pictures on this site (No propane tank either). It is such a waste for such a beautiful area. If you love this area do not camp here go across the highway to Pine Acres Resort. It will be a better experience.

Park Description

Blue Lakes Village RV Park in Upper Lake California offers full hookup RV camping across CA 20 from Blue Lakes. The small park is accessed by a loop road with primarily back-in sites. Sites are packed gravel, many have concrete pads. The camping area is covered with trees.

There is a bathroom, shower house, and laundry room available for guest convenience. A fully fenced in dog park with luscious green grass is on site for the enjoyment of furry friends. Blue Lakes Village also provides lake access and offers a dock for fishing or jumping in the water.

Most RV’s on site are designated long-term, however the park caters to both long and short term clientele. There is a row of sites specifically for short term guests.
