About Redman Campground
Redman Campground near Salt Lake City Utah is a US Forest Service campground (Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest) offering almost 40 primitive (no hookup) tent and RV camping sites in a popular area. Fishing, hiking and mountain biking along with cool mountain area and a peaceful getaway make it so that this campground requires advanced reservations in season. Just down the road from Solitude Mountain Resort and Silver Lake.
Sites have a picnic table, fire ring and fresh water is available. Restrooms with running water also available. NOTE that NO PETS are allowed.
The campground contains two group sites and numerous single, double, and triple-family sites, all with picnic tables and campfire rings. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. Firewood is available for purchase from the host. Roads and parking spurs are dirt.
The campground is set among a forest of shady spruce and pine trees. Vivid summer wildflowers are abundant and autumn leaves put on quite a show.
Hiking and mountain biking are popular activities on area trails, including the Donut Falls Trail, which begins nearby. Fly-fishermen enjoy casting on Big Cottonwood Creek.
