About Lower Wolf Creek Campground
Located on the banks of Wolf Creek, Arizona walnut and live-oaks are interspersed among the ponderosa pines in this boulder-strewn campground that was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930s.
- 20 campsites with picnic tables, and fire rings with grills
- No drinking water
- Vault toilets
- Garbage service
- Each campsite usually accommodates one vehicle towing a camp trailer plus one additional vehicle (there is a charge for additional vehicle). Vehicles must be parked in space provided on site - not along side the road.
- Sites are designed for 5 people; a maximum of 10 is allowed only to accommodate a single large family.
