What campers say

Dog Canyon Campground sits deep in Guadalupe Mountains National Park and delivers a very remote, well‑kept camping experience with clean restrooms and dishwashing facilities. Expect a long drive with limited or no cell service and only sporadic Wi‑Fi; bring extra fuel and supplies. Tent pads and hiking access are praised, with a range of trails from short to strenuous. Wildlife is common—deer, turkeys, cattle and occasional larger predators—so take normal precautions. Limited services and a compact RV loop mean a quiet, natural setting for those prepared for wind, cold nights, and minimal amenities.
