White’s City RV Park

White’s City RV Park in Whites City New Mexico offers full hookup RV camping at the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The location is noted for being severely run down and unkempt. Full hookup sites provide 30 and 50 amp service and are best utilized by self contained campers to avoid the poor bathroom conditions. The location right next to the entrance to the caverns is the only reason to stay at this location. Dirt/ gravel roads with some paved and some dirt sites. Sites are close together with sparse tree coverage. What brings down the overall ambiance are a number of permanent/ long term RVs that are severely worn down and junky looking. If you can overlook them and can fit in the sites this place is a quiet and convenient overnight stay. During the summer season the area is hopping with tourists and for fun there is a water park right across the highway. Not as bad as some of the other review sites suggest the location is just not worth the going rate ($36-$40 per night). Tent sites are also available and are situated around a scenic grassy area with shaded picnic tables.
