CYPRESS GROVE RV PARK REVIEW The good, the bad and the ugly. Pretty park, management keeps things trimmed and neat. 45 long term spots and 6 or so overnight. Location, overnight probably good as its right off the exit. Right between Medford Oregon and Grants Pass Oregon. Long term, not so much. Sandwiched between a county road and I-5 its extremely noisy. Management is rude and overbearing. They can be nitpicky beyond reason. They do not enforce the 5mph in park speed limit so it’s hazardous. Management has stated that young children are not welcome (unofficially) as this is unlawful. Directly across the street is a periodic wedding function location so on summer weekends be prepared for loud and obnoxious music till 10 pm or so. The camp hosts have been known to cause trouble for residents just because that’s the kind of jerks they are. Previous management wanted to remove them, but they now have embedded themselves with current managers to the detriment of the residents. Often, they will trespass without warning and make noise outside your home. Internet is intermittent at best so don’t plan on a good and continuous connection. Basic cable is ok. Nice country store 1 mile away with deli and friendly staff. Prices are comparable and competitive. Managers are ignorant of Oregon rental laws and often overstep their authority.

What campers say
Cypress Grove RV Park is frequently described as clean, quiet, and well maintained, with attractive landscaping and tidy shared facilities such as laundry. Management and staff receive repeated praise for being friendly and helpful — assisting with hookups, cable, propane and guest needs — and many guests find it appealing for monthly or long-term stays, especially retirees. The park is easily accessible from the highway, but it sits about 15 miles from Eagle Point, so it may not suit those needing frequent trips there. A few guests noted that nearby wildfires and smoke have occasionally affected stays.
