What campers say
Withrow Springs State Park is a well‑kept, family‑friendly campground set among woods, springs and river overlooks. Many sites offer 30/50‑amp electric plus water and sewer, with some pull‑throughs, tent pads and good water pressure; sites are generally spacious and shaded. Trails (Dogwood, War Eagle) lead to wildflowers, rock formations and a year‑round spring. Park facilities include clean restrooms, a visitor center, playground and a public pool. Practical tradeoffs: cell/Wi‑Fi can be limited, the campground is somewhat spread out so some sites are farther from the pool/center, a few sites sit close to the road, and flies or occasional construction noise have been noted.
