What campers say

Carlsbad RV Park & Campground offers level, well-maintained sites and an excellent location for visiting Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains. Guests often praise the indoor heated pool and notably clean, modern showers; laundry and an onsite shop add convenience. Management and staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, though a few guests reported slow or inconsistent front-desk responsiveness. Practical tradeoffs include limited shade at sites and noticeable highway/street noise for sites near the road. Some stays have experienced utility work or interruptions. This park suits larger rigs and families seeking basic, convenient amenities near local attractions.

📖 About This Campground

Carlsbad RV Park & Campground in Carlsbad New Mexico offers full hookup RV sites, tent sites, and cabins. The nicest park in town this RV resort does a good job with their location using manicured native plants, varied colored rocks and a smart design to create a comfortable and inviting RV park. The furthest south of the Carlsbad RV parks (offering short term stays) this location is the most convenient to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Large easy to access pull thrus, quiet backin sites along the perimeter, tent areas and cabins provide a range of camping options. An indoor pool and crazy huge playground/ swing-set provide things to do. A good mix of shade trees. Reasonable rates run around $40 for nightly with discounts for longer term stays. The park does have a very strange policy of not allowing walk ups... advanced reservations only. Being said they are not going to prevent you from calling for a reservation while waiting in their entrance; then walking in and checking in. Close to restaurants, gas stations, and the local Walmart.
