What campers say

Whitehorse County Park is a well-maintained, peaceful riverside campground with friendly hosts, potable water and electrical hookups, and clean bathrooms and showers. There are grassy play areas and a large playground nearby, plus tent-friendly spots and short walks to the river. A boat ramp makes this a popular put-in for floats and fishing; several visitors note affordable fees and ease of launching, though the river can run swift and requires caution. Sites are groomed but can sit close together; some are hard to level or in full sun, and access roads and on-site trash facilities have occasional limitations.
