Tomahawk Lake State Forest Campground is a quiet, rustic spot with many campsites situated on or near the lake, offering easy kayak and small-boat access and a small beach. Sites are often roomy and relatively level, with several sections to choose from and plenty of water views. Facilities are basic — vault toilets and a pump well — but are generally kept clean. The area attracts anglers and ORV users because of nearby trails and roads. Expect a peaceful, natural setting with occasional insects and the possibility of filling in peak season.
