Timber Wolf was a great place for us to stay! Positives: - Minutes from West Glacier entrance - 50 amp and full hookups - FREE wifi (actively working on reliability) - Located on 20 acres with hiking trails Negatives: - RV sites are tightly located on the side of hill and can be difficult to back into. The owners were actively working on improving that.

Guests commonly note friendly, helpful hosts and a tidy property with cabins and terraced RV sites offering 30/50A, water and sewer. On-site perks include jeep/UTV rentals, a small store with firewood/ice/propane (electronic payments accepted), community fire pits, and coin-operated hot showers. Sites feel tucked away and pet-friendly. Practical tradeoffs: the resort sits close to the highway and there is occasional nighttime train noise, which some visitors describe as manageable white noise.

Timber Wolf Resort is located in Hungry Horse Montana and is only 9 miles west of Glacier National Park. Offering full and partial hookup RV and tent camping sites (for any size RV) situated in a wooded setting terraced into the hillside. Tent sites are on the back side of the hill away from road noise. Note: the access road is uphill on loose gravel.
