What campers say

Emery Bay Campground sits in a wooded area above a scenic reservoir, with many sites offering easy shore access and peaceful views; it’s about 15 to 30 minutes from Glacier National Park’s west entrance. Guests commonly praise friendly, attentive hosts and surprisingly clean pit toilets. Tradeoffs to consider: the unpaved access road is often potholed and washboarded, which can be rough for RVs, some campsites lack a direct lake view, and cell service may be limited. Occasional issues with noise, reservation management, and limited onsite supplies mean you should come prepared and be bear-aware.
